God’s Heart Towards You

Every day, people often find themselves paralyzed, unsure if they should move forward in life. Should they trust God? Does He really love them?

The victory of a believer doesn’t come from merely knowing scripture in their head; it comes from believing in what the scripture says.

Knowing the God of the Bible means understanding His character and heart—not just knowing about God, but truly knowing Him personally. To comprehend how God operates is to grasp how He genuinely feels about you. Is He merely an observer? Does He hold grudges? Does He really care about us?

In this blog, we will share God’s heart toward you, revealing a love that is deeply personal and cherishes each one of you. When you fully understand His love and His desire to actively work in your life, it can and will make all the difference.

Philippians 3:6-7 states, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” This ability to stand in peace and confidence without anxiousness can only come from understanding His genuine affection and love towards us.

Jeremiah 29:11 states, “I know the thoughts I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” This scripture conveys a powerful message. Despite Israel’s actions and their captivity due to their sins, God assures them that He has a good plan for their future. His love remains unchanged, and there is hope ahead if they seek Him earnestly. God takes joy in your future, and His glory is reflected in your success. The victories we experience are a direct reflection of His grace and glory.

Romans 8:31-32 states, “What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him free give us all things?” Verse 37 states, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” This scripture should inspire great confidence in every believer. It demonstrates that God is genuinely committed to your victory. He sees you as a conqueror through His Son, and even more than a conqueror as you advance in life.

God gave everything to elevate you and me as His sons.

Ephesians 1:5-6 states, “having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise and glory of His grace, by which He made us acceptable in the beloved.” God’s love wasn’t just to save us, it was to restore us to Himself fully. This is glorious love in action!

Believer, God is no respecter of persons. His love for us is fully realized, demonstrated, and proven in the most classic scripture, John 3:16“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.” This demonstrates the heart of God. His love for you and me is unconditional and cannot be challenged. God’s love inspired Him to take such a profound and powerful action that He chose to die in our place to save us and bring us back to Himself.

In Colossians 1:19-20, the Bible says, “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.”

When was the last time you took a moment to meditate on all that God has done for you?

We often focus on our problems and struggles, but now is the time to reflect on the victories that His love has brought into our lives. Through His love, we can achieve great things and move forward with confidence. In the next section, I will share some of the promises we have in Him, which will help us as we continue to move forward.

Psalm 23:4-6 states, “though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and your staff comfort me. You prepare a table before us in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup overflowed. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

All of this is attached to His ever-present, continually operating love for us.

Romans 5:8 states, “But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” The scripture goes on to say in verses 9-10, “Much more than, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

God’s love is portrayed in this scripture as a complete love. It not only brings you out but also continues to bring you into His fullness. This strengthens our revelation in our spirits and keeps us steadfast through life.

Romans 8:14-15 states, “for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For you did not receive the Spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry out, ‘Abba Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are the children of God.”

Each day, God’s Spirit reminds you of your identity. His love continually affirms that you are a child of God.

Finally, according to Hebrews 4:14-16, the Bible states, “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but was on all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

This boldness is achieved through our understanding of not only who He is but also who we are in Him. Our confidence is guaranteed by the inner testimony of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who strengthens us and reveals the power and extent of God’s love, as well as all that we are in Christ.

Ephesians 3:16-19 states, “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Saints, the love of God is so vast that there is nothing it cannot reach, touch, or change. God has established His love for us in such a way that He can hold us with that love and guide us all the way until that day. You lack nothing because of Him. Stand firm in His love for you. He knows the plans He has for you, and with His love in action, there is nothing that can prevent it from fulfilling all that He has destined and planned for you.
