God’s Ever-Present Healing Power

God’s Ever Present Healing Power

Faith to receive the breakthrough for your healing comes from the word, and the word demonstrated. The Bible is filled with stories of Jesus healing all kinds of sicknesses and diseases. What strengthens this is when we see scripture after scripture that shows that healing is for us. From the covenants and promises in the Old Testament to the fulfillment of those promises in the New Testament, we are consistently shown that it has always been God’s will to destroy sickness and disease. Jesus demonstrated again and again the passion, zeal, and love that the Father has for us by the way He confronted all sickness by declaring that its origin is from Satan himself. John 10:10; “The thief has not come but to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come that you might have life and that life more abundant.”

In Luke 13:10-16, Jesus is in the Synagogue and there is a woman who is bent over and can’t straighten up. Jesus sees her and declares, “Woman thou art loosed”. She is instantly healed. Jesus states that she had been oppressed by Satan for 18 years, and deserves to be set free. The great victory for us is when we find out those fulfilled promises are ours through Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:20 states; “For all the promises of God in Him are yes and in Him Amen.

2 Peter 1:3-4; “as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature…”

The victory of the Cross revealed through Christ’s resurrection from the dead and ascension back to the right hand of the Father has presented us with the fullness of all God has for us. In Christ’s now ever-present position, He now sits as the total victory over hell, death, and the grave. From that position, we find out that according to Hebrews 13:8; “Jesus is (exists, operates, moves as) the same yesterday, today, and forever”, and from 1 John 3:8 the Bible says; “For this reason was the Son of God manifest, that He might destroy(undue) all the works(labors) of the devil.”

From this scripture, we find that the ministry of Jesus is to destroy sin, sickness, and disease from our lives. 1 Peter 1:23, says; “Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.” This passage tells us that as a present operating word, every promise in the bible is for us today and that they are ever working, ever living, and ever producing eternal results. If the word is ever-living and working, then every promise of healing is ever-working and ever-living. This tells us emphatically that every healing and delivering scripture in the Bible is for us today. Our faith comes from the very word of God.

Romans 10:17 states; “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Now the responsibility comes to us to believe what God says in His word.

Matthew 13:18-23 talks about the Sower sowing the seed. Jesus states that the seed is the word of the kingdom of God. God’s kingdom is the message of total redemption from sin, sickness, and disease. It is up to us to receive the word. Sometimes doubt, disbelief, opposition, and just hard-heartedness can stand in the way of the message of the kingdom. The parable shows how we need to decide that the word is good seed. It warns us that the devil, offenses, and problems of life can steal the word from ever being effective in us. Without the right attitude, you can’t receive the benefits of the kingdom word.

We need to take God at His word and decide that we will move forward from promise to promise until we are saturated with the word that lives and endures forever, and then it can rise inside us as the faith that believes. This is when we have come to the place where we can have as Mark 11:23 states; “Have faith In God. For assuredly I say to you “whoever” says to this mountain be removed and cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes those things that you say will be done, then you will have whatsoever you say.” Coming to this place, you arrive at the place where your healing and breakthrough meet faith and not just faith, but a faith that believes so much, that the mountain of the disease of opposition has to crumble before you and be scattered to the wind as you stand and confess that the promise is yours. Faith must be on the promises of the word of God. The Bible tells us everything we need to know about the extent of God’s unfathomable love, and His love is your complete soundness and wholeness.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 states, “May your whole spirit, soul, and body be held blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”.

Believers, we have every promise given to us to stand fast until we see the victory. Your healing, breakthrough, and victory over sin, sickness, and disease have been fully purchased through the work of the Cross.

Let us take our place in our faith and see God’s word produce the promised victory.

Great Blessings,
