what we believe

Mary was a virgin, and she was “with child” by the Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 7:14; Matt. 1:18-23; Luke 1:30-35)

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are infallible and inerrant. They are useful for the correction, discipline, and training of the believer (II Tim. 3:16; Heb. 4:12; II Peter 1:19-21)

The blood was shed for the remission of our sins. Together, the blood and the cross are the propitiatory work for our redemption. Our sins are washed away, and Satan’s kingdom is defeated. The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, was substitution for our sins. Jesus bore our sins on the cross, and His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness. (Matt. 26:27,28; Col. 1:14; Heb. 9:12-14,22; Rom. 3:24-25, Col. 2:14-15)

The Godhead is made up of the Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19; II Cor. 13:14; I John 5:7) : Jesus Christ is actually God in the flesh, the second person of the trinity. (John 5:18; John 10:30-33; John 20:28; Col. 1:15-19)

After Creation man sinned, causing a separation between God and man. This falling away left man in a state of physical, and ultimately eternal death. Salvation was made available through repentance and the shed blood of Christ. Salvation is received by faith through grace to whosoever will believe on Jesus Christ. (John 3:16; John 14:6; Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:8,9)

The return of Jesus Christ is imminent. (Matt. 24: 1-51; Acts 1:9-11; I Thess. 4:15-17) There is a literal heaven and a literal hell (Matt. 25:31-46; Luke 16:19-26; Rev. 21:1-8; Matt. 25:31-46) There is a final judgment – one for unbelievers and one for believers. (John 12:47,48; II Cor. 5:10; Rev. 20:12-15)

Healing is in the atonement. There is power in prayer for the sick, and that divine healing is a provision of the redemptive word of Christ on the cross. (Isaiah 53:5; James 5:13-15; Exodus 15:26-27; Mat.8:14-17)

These are ordinances of the church. Baptism is the representation of both dying and then being raised to new life with Christ. It is a public declaration of your surrender to Christ. Immersion in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19) The Lord’s Supper: A memorial of the death and Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (I Cor. 11:23-26)

Jesus commanded His disciples to stay in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is essential for the believer to truly walk in a victorious life. It is the power of God present in our lives. The initial evidence is the speaking in other tongues. We are born again by the Holy Spirit, but the believer should seek the Baptism in the Holy Spirit to fulfill their purpose. (John 3:3; Acts 1:4-8, 10:44-48, 19:1-6; Eph. 1:13-14)

The Gifts of the Spirit are still in operation today, and should be desired to be used in the body as the Holy Spirit enables. (Joel 2:28-32; I Cor. 12-14:40; Acts 1:82:39; Romans 12:4-8)

The Church is the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against her. The universal church is represented in the local body. Here believers come together to be edified, strengthened, and fed. Here the gifts of the spirit are allowed to operate most effectively. The believers who assemble to worship, carry forth the Great Commission and minister as the Holy Spirit leads them. (I Cor. 1:1-9; Matt. 28:18-20; Eph. 1:19-23; Mat. 16:17-19)

The local church has a right to govern itself under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and may discipline in love, where it deems best for the life of the church and the testimony of the Lord. This may include any member who departs from the principles set forth in the articles or whose conduct is contrary to the Spirit and practice of this body. (Acts 20:28-30; II Tim. 3:1-17, 4:1-5)

Marriage is a beautiful gift from God. We believe God wonderfully and immutably created each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen 1:26-27.) We believe the term ‘marriage’ has only one meaning: the unity of one biological male and one biological female. (Mat. 19:4-6). We believe that the covenant and stability of marriage offers the best for children and future generations (Mal. 2:15) and is the biblical representation of the covenant between Christ and His church. (Eph. 5:22-32)

Believers should seek, as early disciples did, to practice a separated life from the world and (unto) Christ, producing standard conduct which will exalt our Lord and His Church. (I Cor. 6:9-20; Gal. 5:16-25; Eph. 4:21-32, 5:1-16)

Are you able to receive prayer after a service?

Absolutely!

As the Holy Spirit leads, Pastor will open up the altar and ask people to come forward for prayer during a service. Pastor Giovannetti is very serious about following the leading of the Holy Spirit in a service and doesn’t want to ever miss a moment when the Holy Spirit wants to minister and impart into the lives of the people in the service. Pastor Giovannetti flows in a strong and powerful prophetic anointing as he ministers by the laying on of hands as he prays for people.

If you did not receive prayer during the service, Pastor Giovannetti would love to meet you and pray with you following any service. Following the service, feel free to come forward to greet him and ask for prayer.
